Order Acceptance Policy
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. S & M Computers reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. S & M Computers reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order, without prior notice to you, to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item. All orders placed over $800.00 ( CAD ) must obtain pre-approval with an acceptable method of payment, as established by S & M Computers. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. S & M Computers is a reseller to end user customers and does not accept orders from computer dealers, exporters, wholesalers, or other customers who intend to resell the products offered by S & M Computers
Typographical Errors
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, S & M Computers shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. S & M Computers shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, S & M Computers shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.
Return policy and limited guarantee against defects
Every third party product you buy from S & M Computers is backed first by the product manufacturer's warranty. S & M Computers' 14 day limited warranty against defects, may also apply. S & M Computers' 14 day limited warranty is a defective exchange policy that provides for either repair or replacement (at our sole discretion) of merchandise that has been confirmed as defective by either the manufacturer or S & M Computers. Leased merchandise is not eligible for this warranty. Due to licensing and copyright laws, we do not accept returns on software once a package has been opened. Defective software will be exchanged for the same title only according to S & M Computers' limited 14 day warranty described above. Hardware confirmed as defective by the product manufacturer or S & M Computers will either be exchanged or repaired at our sole discretion within the first 14 days of ownership only. After 14 days the product manufacturer warranty is the only warranty in effect. Terms and conditions may vary by product or manufacturer. S & M Computers will assist customers whenever possible in gaining satisfaction with product manufacturers. For assistance or to exchange a defective product contact S & M Computers to get a return authorization number. Products returned for exchange must be in new condition, original packaging and include all disks, registration cards, packing materials and other accessories and be received within 14 days of the invoice date. We reserve the right to refuse for return or charge a restocking fee of 40% for damaged or incomplete returns. No returns will be accepted without an RA number issued by S & M Computers or when the product manufactures or distributors return policies supersede ours.
Once an order is processed and shipment has commenced, customer is entitled to store credit up to the amount of purchase. If Gift Certificate has been used, a new Gift Certificate will be issued for the original amount.

S & M Computers’ point of sale price match policy: At point of sale we will match any competitor’s price on identical offers or items. The item must be in-stock, available for immediate shipment and be in the same condition as the S & M Computers advertised item. Price matched items are limited to one per household. Sorry, but we do not offer price matches on any item that is advertised below S & M Computers’ actual cost.
S & M Computers’ 14 day price protection policy: In the event our regular advertised price on an item falls within 14 days of your purchase date simply E-Mail us within 14 days of your original purchase date and we will issue you a Credit in the amount of the price drop good toward the purchase of anything else we sell. This price protection policy only applies to regularly advertised products and doesn't apply to limited time sales, instant savings offers, instant or mail-in rebates, private offers, auctions, open box items, limited quantity and close out items or other promotions or offers and may not be used in conjunction with other discounts. Due to fluctuations in the industry, CPU’s, Memory, and products or bundles containing a CPU or Memory (ex. Desktop and laptop computers) are not included in our price protection policy. Prices on CPU and Memory are subject to frequent change and we cannot offer price protection on these items and products containing these items in the event prices rise or fall.
Regarding Bundles
Bundled items are included while supplies last. Items of similar or greater value may be substituted.
Rebate Coupons
Rebate coupon redemptions are limited to ONE PER ADDRESS only, unless otherwise noted.
Warranty Limitations
There are no other express warranties or conditions respecting the equipment. Implied warranties, if any, are limited to the duration of the express warranty provided herein. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts so that the foregoing limitation may not apply to you.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall S & M Computers or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates be liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to loss of use, loss of data, loss of business or profits. Some localities do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
Processing Time
Your order is thoroughly reviewed by our Credit Card Department to ensure that the order is accurate, the payment method is valid, and you are authorized to use this payment method. Once your order has passed the rigorous review by our Credit Card Department, it is sent to our warehouse for shipment
NOTE - We do not charge your credit or debit card until your order is shipped, however we do attempt to get an authorization on your card for the amount of your order at the time your order is placed. This authorization is not a charge but still may utilize a portion of your credit limit or available funds making those funds or portion of your credit limit unavailable for other use. In the unlikely event that your order is delayed or canceled the authorization will expire and your credit limit or available funds will again become available for use. The amount of time it takes for an authorization to expire is dependent on the policies of the bank that issued your card and ranges from 1 to 7 business days.

If the item(s) on your order are in-stock, we will ship them as soon as possible. If the item(s) on your order are out of stock, they will not be shipped until we have received and processed the back ordered inventory.

Total Time for Delivery
Total time is based on the amount of time it takes to get payment authorization, order processing, and the transit time from the carrier. This can range from 24 hours to 10 days for in-stock items.
Shipping and Handling Rates
Our customer-friendly shipping schedule is calculated on the ACTUAL WEIGHT of your shipment and the TYPE OF SHIPPING SERVICE that you specify (ground, air or overnight). Shipping and handling charges will be applied to all orders placed with us. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding these charges, feel free to contact S & M Computers.
Credit / Debit Card Authorizations
An authorization on a credit or debit card is a hold against your banks credit card spending limit. When the goods are shipped, a charge for the total amount of the order shipped will be sent to your credit card bank. Your bank should release the authorization when the charge is received. A charge is the only time a transfer of funds is completed; an authorization is not a transfer of funds.
Risk of Loss
If the Customer provides S & M Computers with Customer's carrier account number or selects a carrier other than a carrier that regularly ships for S & M Computers, title to products and risk of loss or damage during shipment passes from S & M Computers to Customer upon shipment from S & M Computers' facility. For all other shipments, title to products and risk of loss or damage during shipment passes from S & M Computers to Customer upon receipt by Customer. Notwithstanding the foregoing, title to software will remain with the applicable licensor(s) and Customer's rights therein are contained in the license agreement between such licensor(s) and Customer. S & M Computers retains a security interest in the products until payment in full is received. The customer will be responsible for all shipping and related charges.
Export Regulations
If this transaction involves an export under the Canadian export regulations, the commodities, technology and/or software sold or distributed under these terms and conditions of sale exported from Canada by S & M Computers were exported in accordance with such regulations. Diversion, use, export or re-export contrary to Canadian law is prohibited. In addition, manufacturers' warranties for exported products may vary or may be null and void for products exported outside Canada.
Auto-Renewal Policy
S&M Computers operates an Auto Renewal Policy on all services, which is designed to ensure continuity of service. Customers can opt out from Auto Renewal or manage their Auto Renewal settings for individual or all services via 'My Services' in the Customer Portal. For customers with Auto Renewal active, fees for the Renewal Term are payable up to fourteen (14) days in advance of the contract expiry date. As per the S&M Computers Cancellation Policy customers wishing to cancel their Auto Renewal must do so by contacting their Account Manager at least 30 days prior to the contract expiry date.
Any Auto Renewal notification emails will be sent to the email address which is held at that time for the customer's account, so it is important that customers ensure their contact and billing details, specifically their email address is up to date.
To ensure services are renewed via Auto Renewal, customers must ensure that their contact and billing details are updated at all times. Customers updating Credit/Debit Card details must be aware that they will be at risk of losing services if details are not updated before the day services are scheduled to expire. S&M Computers cannot be held responsible for loss of a service if the Auto Renewal is cancelled or a customer's contact and billing details are not up to date, therefore preventing the Auto Renewal from taking place.
Auto Renewal of S&M Computers services is excluded from the 14 Day Refund Policy as it is the customers responsibility to cancel services, in writing, 30 days prior to the contract expiry date.
